Members of Parliament (MPs) are expected to re-convene on Tuesday, 10th June 2014 for the second sectional meeting.
The Public Affairs Directorate of Parliament had earlier announced that the House was expected to reconvene on Tuesday, 3rd June, 2014.
However, a statement released over the weekend did not assign any specific reasons for the postponement, but indicated that Chairpersons, ranking Members and Clerks of the committees on Constitutional, Legal and parliamentary Affairs, Finance, Roads and Transport and Subsidiary Legislation are to meet on Monday, 2nd June at 10am.
Nonetheless, the Public Affairs Directorate urged parliamentarians, administrative heads, media and the general public to take note of the change in date and converge accordingly.
