
The Parliament of Ghana will resume today, May 27, 2025 after two long months break to commence the Second Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.
The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, issued a summons in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, to formally notify the Members of the Parliament of the sittings.
This meeting promises to be exciting full of activities as the public expect to find finality to a number of pending issues including the investigations into the destruction caused by some MPs during the vetting of ministers, daughter of a murderer directed at Dr. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings among others which happened during the first meeting.
There will also be committee reports for consideration, as well as legislative reviews.
