Member of Parliament for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak has advised Parliament to rescind its decision to investigate the corruption saga which has rocked Ghana football.
According to him since the Police is already investigating the same issue, it will be a duplication of duty should Parliament go ahead to investigate same.
Mr Mubarak who was proposed by Minority Chief Whip to be a member of the seven member Committee said.
Speaker of Parliament Prof Aaron Michael Oquaye agreed with a motion by Minority Chief Whip, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka that Parliament investigates matters arising from the exposé into Ghana Football by undercover Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Member of Parliament for Bodi, Sampson Ahi had earlier raised the issue inviting Parliament to investigate it.
