Parliament will on Thursday rule on Professor Alex Dodoo, a Lecturer at the School of Medicine and Dentistry of the University of Ghana, after the House deliberates on the report of the Privileges Committee.
He appeared before the committee over his contemptuous comment last week.
The renowned Pharmacist had described comments from MP’s who were opposed to the recent Phase 1 Trial of Ebola Vaccine in the Volta Region, as ignorant.
His comment was seen as disrespecting Parliament and that got the speaker hauling him before the Privileges Committee to explain himself.
Professor Dodoo when he appeared before the commitee last week, unconditionally apologized for his comments.
Parliament has once again invited the Professor but this time not to answer questions.
He is to be present when a report on him is being discussed on the floor of parliament in conformity with the rule of natural justice.
