Leader of Government Business and Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has said the information gathered by the Finance Committee would help it come out with a proper legislation to tighten loose ends in the banking sector.
According to the Leader of Government Business, this would help prevent the occurrence of collapse of banks in the future going forward.
He further added that the Parliamentary information gathering is not aim at pushing for indictment but rather identify the wrongs and shape legislation moving forward.
On the issue of Isaac Adongo walking out, he said Parliament represents various shades of opinion in Parliament and can never have absolute uniformity; the Minority representatives had indicated that Adongo spoke for himself.
Again at the Committee other members might have said upon hand sight I should have asked this or that question, individuals might not be happy with their own performance, let us look at what would come out of this process.
