In line with strategies to power quality education in the district, the Member of Parliament for the Sissala East constituency, Sulemana Alijata Gbentie has resolved to commit funds towards the establishment of an Information, Communication, Technology (ICT)/Library at Wellembelle.
Realization of the intended project is on course in the beneficiary community as recently site for the construction of the facility has just been handed over to initiate the project fully.
Interacting with Ghanamps.gov.gh, the MP reiterated that the GETfund project on-board is scheduled to be completed in three months.
A total of GHS 160,000 has therefore been budgeted to be invested in the project targeted at helping improve the standard of education and make quality education accessible to all children.
She pointed out that acquiring such a facility was crucial as it will offer the environment to promote the evolution and influences of ICT learning, as well as broaden the knowledge base of children in education.
