Speaker of the seventh Parliament, Professor Aaron Michael Oquaye in pursuance to standing order 37 of Ghana’s Parliament has given notice of commencement of the second meeting of the fourth session of the seventh Parliament.
In a signed statement by the Speaker on the 19th of May 2020 at ten o’clock in the forenoon at Parliament House the second meeting would commence. Professor Oquaye in the wake of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic suspended the House indefinitely to enable the House to be recalled at anytime to approve laws and funds for the Executive arm of government in its fight against the disease.
