Honorable Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah, A Deputy Health Minister and Member of Parliament(MP) for Weija- Constituency had led delegation from the Ministry of Health to a round table discussion to finalise some issues concerning the solar energy equipment to be procured by Government from the Redex international, a solar energy company with track of outstanding records in Europe.
Redex International is set to install 16.8 mega watts of solar energy in all Regional and District hospitals across the country at an estimated cost of €45million.
The programme will later be extended to include CHIPs compounds upon request by Government.
It is to be recalled that, the company visited Ghana 2 months ago to carry out feasibility studies on various hospitals in the country. Madam Tina Mensah led the delegation to inspect the facility of the company to assess its capability.
