A member of the Majority side of parliament, Nelson Kofi Djabab has assured that the presence of the Majority side of the House will be felt in this third meeting of the first session.

According to him, concerns about lack of quorum which became a topical issue usually raised by the Minority side of the House will not find space anymore as most of the challenges faced by a number of the members from the Majority side who were first-time MPs relating to accommodation have been resolved.

In an interview as Parliament reconvenes for the third meeting of the first session, the Krachi East MP noted that the MPs have settled down now, “and to this extent I can assure you that we are all properly settled now, people who have to deal with issues of rent, who have to do with issues of car and other things”.

All these problems have been addressed and I can assure you and other meaningful Ghanaians that are concerned about the working in Parliament House that this meeting in Parliament, on the Majority side you will always see us in our full numbers and the parliamentary business that we are expected to transact in order to promote the reset agenda of this government will surely be done, the way Ghanaians aspire it to be, he stated.
