The Zebilla-Zabre road linking Ghana and neighbouring Burkina Faso is currently being tarred to enhance smooth transportation on the stretch for travelers.

The move forms part of several other initiatives undertaken by the Member of Parliament for the Zebilla Constituency, Cletus Avoka to push the growth of the area.

This was made possible through the support from COCOBOD under its initiative of the ‘cocoa roads’ implemented in the hinterlands to gradually boost roads in the cocoa growing areas of the country.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com the Assembly member for the Zebilla electoral area, Agbango Simon Ayande realized that the project was very important on account of the strategic location of that particular stretch.

He therefore indicated that reshaping the road by tarring it will obviously help boost the convenience of the many commuters who ply the road frequently.
