Former Minister of Health in the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, Joseph Yieleh Chireh has taken a swipe at President Nana Akufo-Addo and Majority leadership for the absence of Ministers on the floor of the House.

He further pointed out that there are Ministers who have even not brought a single legislation to the House and pointed out that even those Ministries that have had loans approved for them have not started a project.

According to the Wa West legislator, some Ministers are claiming credit for projects started by the previous government a year or two years ago, “because of the promises they gave during the 2016 presidential campaign”.

The President should know MPs who are Ministers who can combine, Parliamentary and Ministerial work and perform it well, “it is all about well apportion of time’, he said.

He praised the Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko for always being in Parliament, “if we talk of crises managing Ministry it is his Ministry”.
