The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency, Alhaji Amadu Seidu said he will continue to offer assistance to children of school going age in his constituency to provide opportunity for them to access formal education to an appreciable level.
According to him, he has provided educational scholarship package to a number of students in the area at various level of education including tertiary, senior high schools as well as at the medical school.
He however indicated that the focus will be on brilliant but needy children who show promising signs of excelling who should not be allowed to go waist. Additionally, others will be assisted to acquire employable skills as part of efforts to develop human resource in the constituency.
He therefore called on beneficiaries of the scholarship package to make good use of the opportunity given them to give value for money used on them.
