The Member of Parliament for Keta, Hon. Richard Quashigah has supported the Seva community with a cash amount of two thousand Ghana cedis and ten computers.
The MP made the donation when he joined the people in the commissioning of an ICT centre.
The new ICT centre was constructed by the community through the initiative of the Seva Development Association. Unfortunately, it was not fully complete for use as there were no computers and furniture.
Mr. Quashigah therefore stepped in with the cash donation towards provision of furniture in the centre and laptops just so the centre can be put in use as soon as possible. Five computers were ready for them while the remaining five will be provided later. “Other facilities like fans will be handled later”, he stated.
“This is the kind of spirit I will always commend you for, start small and help will come”, added.
Touching on other concerns of the people, Mr. Richard Quashigah said the age long problem with potable water in the community will be addressed. “You know, but for the salty nature of the water this
problem would have been solved long ago. But I can assure you that we are exploring other possibilities including reverse osmosis”.

He added that government has a long term plan for providing water to all communities in the area through the Ghana-Togo water project. But in the interim something will be done to improve the water situation in the area”, the MP assured.
He further announced efforts for the construction of a number of roads in the municipality and that includes the Seva Road.
